Petrichor- Original Numberism Drawing

1,200.00

This is the original Numberism drawing of "Petrichor", hand drawn with pencil on paper, stained with watercolor wash, using recycled rain water. It is framed and ready to hang. It is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity and a magnifying glass.

11" x 14"     -   16" x 20" with frame and mat.

"Petrichor" is drawn with a chemical formula for Geosmin which is partially responsible for the smell of summer rain. It is released in the soil and in plan life after a long summer or drought, allowing the seeds to germinate with the new rain. The smell of summer rain is known as "Petrichor"
