Once a year, the Everett Station Lofts opens up their courtyard to the public. The courtyard is home to the private live-work art studios of the Everett Station artists, and usually, it is closed to the public. On August 2nd, the 8th Annual Courtyard show features artwork from their talented artists amid live music, food and drink. From my experience, this event is not to be missed.

This year, I’m excited to say I am involved! Tab and I just moved in (just just, as in just this last month) and we’re both contributing work for the event. We’re also opening our new Everett digs to the public. You’re welcome to see my workspace, take a look at the original drawings and etchings (including the glass etchings) that you may have seen in print form, and awe and oggle Tab’s new 3D printer. (We live in the future) that he’s been busying himself making stuff with.

There is a large collaborative thing in the works as well with the artists here. I have no idea what form it will take by the time of the event, but Tab and I are making something for it. I’m curious to see how we’ll fit in it and what the artists here are busy making.
